Price of Large Red Chilies in Traditional Markets for the Period April 2025-2026

Quoting from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 16:44 WIB, the daily price of large red chilies in traditional markets of East Nusa Tenggara province was observed to rise by Rp9,600 compared to the previous day to Rp68,350 per kg.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of large red chilies in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp61,650 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of large red chilies in traditional markets in East Nusa Tenggara over the past three months has increased by 80.34% from the previously traded Rp37,900 per kg.

The record increase in the daily price of large red chilies in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in October 2016 with a 40% increase, and the lowest decrease was recorded in September 2021 with a -25.57% decrease.

According to the PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine staple foods (sembako) today in East Nusa Tenggara recorded seven commodities decreasing and 15 others increasing. The sembako with decreasing prices are Daily Premium Quality Granulated Sugar in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Granulated Sugar in Traditional Markets by Province, Low Quality II Rice, Medium Quality II Rice, Daily Chicken Meat in Traditional Markets by Province, Fresh Broiler Chicken Meat in Traditional Markets by Province, and Daily Local Granulated Sugar in Traditional Markets by Province.

4. Medium-Sized Red Onion per kg: Rp43,350 (up 7.3%)
5. Chicken Eggs per kg daily in Traditional Markets by Province: Rp32,550 (up 0.31%)
6. Large Red Chili per kg daily in Traditional Markets by Province: Rp68,350 (up 10.87%)
7. Red Onion per kg daily in Traditional Markets by Province: Rp43,350 (up 7.3%)
8. Medium-Sized Garlic per kg: Rp52,900 (up 4.96%)
9. Fresh Broiler Chicken Eggs per kg daily in Traditional Markets by Province: Rp32,550 (up 0.31%)
