Latest Food Prices in Banten: Beef and Chicken Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (16/10/2024) at 12.04 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged simple cooking oil, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), bulk cooking oil, garlic bulbs, and medium-grain rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, bulk wheat flour, red chilies, milkfish, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most by Rp1,920 (4.37%) to Rp45,840 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili prices decreased the most sharply by Rp1,900 (7.61%) to Rp23,070 per kg.
