Latest Food Prices in Central Java: Bird''s Eye Chili Up, Onions Down

Prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (7/9/2025) at 02:28 PM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 15 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are medium rice, chicken eggs, red bird''s eye chili, broiler chicken meat, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as consumption salt, garlic bulbs, corn at farmer level, SPHP rice, and dried soybeans (imported) decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Red bird''s eye chili commodity surged the highest by Rp566 (2.1%) to Rp27,543 per kg. Meanwhile, garlic bulb prices dropped the deepest by Rp176 (0.54%) to Rp32,324 per kg.
