Food Prices Saturday (8/11) Banten Region: Rice, Beef, and Cayenne Pepper Prices Drop

The prices of several food ingredients in Banten today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (8/11/2025) at 13.20 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 5 increased and 14 decreased.

Commodities with price increases were consumption salt, packaged cooking oil, milkfish, large red chili, and curly red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as red cayenne pepper, mackerel, broiler chicken meat, packaged wheat flour, and broiler chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Consumption salt commodity surged the highest by Rp240 (2.46%) to Rp10,000 per kg. The price of skipjack tuna dropped the sharpest by Rp857 (2.38%) to Rp35,143 per kg.
