Red Onion Price in East Kalimantan Reaches Rp 122,850 per Kg (Friday, June 28, 2024)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of shallots (per kg) in modern markets across several provinces at Rp 64,060 per kg, as of Friday, June 28, 2024. Overall, the average this week decreased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 64,950 per kg.

The daily price of shallots in modern markets in East Kalimantan was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 122,850 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of shallots in this province is higher. Previously, it was recorded at Rp 48,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in North Maluku, shallots were sold at Rp 88,500 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of shallots in Banten was Rp 76,150 per kg, in Yogyakarta Rp 74,700 per kg, and in Bangka Belitung Islands Rp 74,400 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are 18 provinces with shallot sales prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest shallot selling prices are Jambi, West Sulawesi, and North Sumatra.
