10 Provinces with the Highest Beef Prices (Friday, May 26, 2023)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of beef (per kg) in modern markets in several provinces reaching Rp 160,430 per kg, as of Friday, May 26, 2023. Overall, the average this week increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 151,790 per kg.

The daily price of beef in modern markets in Central Sulawesi was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 182,450 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of beef in this province is higher; previously recorded at Rp 149,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in East Kalimantan, beef was sold at Rp 174,300 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of beef in North Maluku was Rp 169,900 per kg, Central Java Rp 169,750 per kg, and Gorontalo Rp 169,000 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are five provinces with beef prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest beef selling prices are West Sumatra, West Kalimantan, and Bangka Belitung Islands.
