Food Prices Today, December 11, in West Sumatra: Red Chili Prices Rise

Prices of several food commodities in West Sumatra today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (11/12/2025) at 18:15 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 3 increased and 1 decreased.

The commodities with increased prices are red bird's eye chili, curly red chili, and shallots.

Meanwhile, only Honan garlic decreased compared to yesterday's price.

Curly red chili prices surged the highest by Rp7,778 (10.52%) to Rp81,685 per kg. Honan garlic prices dropped the deepest by Rp56 (0.17%) to Rp32,444 per kg.
