Daily Prices of Green Chili Peppers in Riau Province's Modern Markets Increased by 23.88% Over the Past Month

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of green chilies in Riau Province's modern markets is recorded at Rp67,450 per kg. This price remains unchanged compared to the previous day and the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of green chilies in modern markets has increased from Rp54,450 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of green chilies in modern markets in Riau over the past three months has decreased by 25.43%. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of green chilies in Riau Province's modern markets was traded at Rp90,450 per kg.

The record high for the daily price of green chilies in the province's modern markets was previously recorded in January 2021 with a 77% increase, and the lowest decrease was recorded in June 2023 at -39.14%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) in Riau today show one commodity decreased and ten others increased. The basic commodity with a price decrease is Red Chilies.
