Latest Indonesian Food Prices: Oil Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (10/1/2025) at 13:21 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, farmer-level corn, fine iodized salt, skipjack tuna, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, shallots, broiler chicken, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel increased the most, by Rp960 (2.5%) to Rp39,370 per kg. The price of red chili peppers decreased the most sharply, by Rp660 (0.89%) to Rp73,570 per kg.
