Food Prices Thursday (3/4) in Yogyakarta Special Region: Rice Up, Red Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (3/4/2025) at 14.03 WIB, out of 22 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include SHP rice, premium rice, medium rice, skipjack tuna, and packaged wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, granulated sugar, packaged cooking oil, large red chilies, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Dry soybean (import) commodity surged the highest by Rp9,450 (inf%) to Rp9,450 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chilies decreased the most by Rp12,834 (15.91%) to Rp67,833 per kg.
