East Java Food Prices Today: Chili Prices Up, Cooking Oil Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are monitored to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (21/12/2024) at 15.32 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include SHP rice, red chilies, pure beef, broiler chicken, and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, farmer-level corn, dry soybean (import), Indian mackerel, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, up by Rp4,800 (11.99%) to Rp44,850 per kg. Farmer-level corn experienced the largest price drop, down Rp90 (1.62%) to Rp5,450 per kg.
