Latest Food Prices in Central Java: Onion and Rice Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (9/10/2024) at 11:31 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, granulated sugar, premium rice, fine iodized salt, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, farmer-level corn, skipjack tuna, red chilies, and SPHP rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of curly red chilies increased the most by Rp830 (4.2%) to Rp20,590 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies decreased the most sharply by Rp780 (2.05%) to Rp37,180 per kg.
