Sumatera Selatan Food Price List Today: Chili, Rice, and Beef Prices Increase (Thursday, December 7, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra have increased today compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday (7/12/2023) at 10:58 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, simple packaged cooking oil, iodized fine salt, granulated sugar, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, bulk wheat flour, red chilies, bulk cooking oil, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices saw the highest increase, jumping Rp1,110 (3.95%) to Rp29,190 per kg. Red chili prices saw the lowest decrease, dropping Rp2,740 (3.03%) to Rp87,800 per kg.

3. Curly Red Chilies: Rp86,000 per kg (up 0.06%)
4. Mackerel: Rp36,940 per kg (up 3.76%)
5. Garlic Bulb: Rp33,260 per kg (unchanged)
6. Red Onion: Rp30,930 per kg (up 2.55%)
7. Broiler Chicken: Rp30,550 per kg (up 1.63%)
8. Milkfish: Rp29,190 per kg (up 3.95%)
9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp28,860 per kg (up 1.55%)
10. Chicken Eggs: Rp26,180 per kg (down 1.1%)
