Daily Beef Prices at Modern Markets in North Sumatra Province Have Remained Unchanged for the Past Month

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of beef in North Sumatra's modern markets is recorded at Rp169,200 per kg. This price remains unchanged compared to the previous day and the last week.

Regarding the price over the last month, the daily price of beef in modern markets has not changed from the previous record of Rp169,200 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of beef in modern markets in North Sumatra over the last three months has decreased by 1.74%. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of beef in North Sumatra's modern markets was traded at Rp172,200 per kg.

The highest record for the daily price of beef in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in April 2020 with an increase of 17.65%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in February 2020 with a decrease of -34.53%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in North Sumatra show three commodities decreased and 23 others increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Fresh Layer Eggs, Fresh Broiler Chicken, and Chicken Eggs.
