Latest Food Prices in Bali: Rice Prices Up, Red Chili Down

The prices of several food ingredients in Bali today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (October 23, 2025) at 10.23 AM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 16 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases were SPHP rice, consumption sugar, milkfish, medium rice, and packaged wheat flour.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as garlic, consumption salt, dried soybean seeds (imported), bulk wheat flour, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish commodity surged the highest by Rp778 (2.1%) to Rp37,778 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chili dropped the deepest by Rp2,808 (6.17%) to Rp42,692 per kg.
