Central Java Food Prices Tuesday (24/9): Beef Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (24/9/2024) at 15.04 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 17 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are premium rice, pure beef, bulk wheat flour, and farmer-level corn.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, red chili peppers, fine iodized salt, shallots, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp90 (1.78%) to Rp5,160 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chilies decreased the most, by Rp480 (2.1%) to Rp22,380 per kg.
