Today's Food Prices in West Java: Chili Prices Up, Egg Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (17/08/2024) at 13:25 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, mackerel, farmer-level corn, milkfish, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, curly red chilies, chicken eggs, pure beef, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp370 (0.59%) to Rp62,900 per kg. Chicken eggs experienced the largest price drop of Rp160 (0.59%) to Rp27,070 per kg.
