Latest Food Prices in Jambi: Chicken Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (12/9/2024) at 09.27 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, red chilies, skipjack tuna, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, dry soybean (import), premium rice, chicken eggs, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk wheat flour experienced the highest price increase of Rp180 (1.79%) to Rp10,250 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of dry soybean (import) decreased the most, by Rp1,380 (11.15%) to Rp11,000 per kg.
