Current Food Prices in West Java: Prices of Onions, Chilies, and Sugar Drop

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (9/10/2024) at 11:03 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, pure beef, iodized fine salt, milkfish, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as Indian mackerel, medium rice, skipjack tuna, premium rice, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most by Rp1,580 (3.55%) to Rp46,140 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chili prices decreased the most sharply by Rp1,710 (6.04%) to Rp26,610 per kg.
