The Price of Grade 1 Beef in West Kalimantan is the Highest in Indonesia (Thursday, January 27, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of Rp 166,250 per kg for Grade 1 beef (per kg) in modern markets across several provinces as of Thursday, January 27, 2022. Overall, the average this week increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 166,170 per kg.

The daily price of Grade 1 beef in modern markets in West Kalimantan was the highest in Indonesia at Rp 254,900 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of Grade 1 beef in this province remained unchanged. The highest price ever recorded in this region was Rp 260,000 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in East Kalimantan, Grade 1 beef was sold at Rp 192,400 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Following in third place, the price of Grade 1 beef in Jambi was Rp 180,000 per kg, Central Sulawesi Rp 177,950 per kg, and Central Java Rp 163,950 per kg.

Meanwhile, nine provinces had Grade 1 beef prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest Grade 1 beef prices were Bangka Belitung Islands, North Sulawesi, and West Sumatra.
