Today's Food Prices (Jan 20) in DKI Jakarta: Bird's Eye Chili Up, Onions Down

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the Ministry of Trade's Staple Food Price Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (January 20, 2026) at 17.57 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are large red chili, red onion, broiler chicken meat, red bird's eye chili, and curly red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as premium rice, Honan garlic, broiler chicken eggs, wheat flour, and beef hindquarter decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili saw the highest jump of Rp2,600 (4.91%) to Rp55,500 per kg. Meanwhile, Honan garlic prices fell the deepest by Rp250 (0.62%) to Rp40,333 per kg.

5. Curly Red Chili: Rp45,100 per kg (up 3.68%)
6. Honan Garlic: Rp40,333 per kg (down 0.62%)
7. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp39,775 per kg (up 0.44%)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp29,900 per kg (down 0.17%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp22,500 per liter (stable)
