Food Prices in South Sumatra Monday (3/11), What is the Price of Red Chili?

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (3/11/2025) at 13:55 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include packaged cooking oil, mackerel, consumption salt, SPHP rice, and consumption sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, milkfish, dried soybeans (imported), skipjack tuna, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red cayenne pepper saw the highest increase of Rp583 (1.61%) to Rp36,769 per kg. Meanwhile, shallot prices dropped the most by Rp682 (1.77%) to Rp37,894 per kg.
