Price of Bulk Cooking Oil in Traditional Markets, April 2024-2025

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of bulk cooking oil in traditional markets in Riau Islands Province is recorded at Rp18,550. This price is down Rp150 compared to the previous day.

Regarding the price over the past month, the daily price of bulk cooking oil in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp18,400.

Meanwhile, the daily price of bulk cooking oil in traditional markets in the Riau Islands over the past three months has increased by 3.06% from the previously recorded price of Rp18,000.

The record high for the daily price of bulk cooking oil in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in December 2016 with an increase of 60.26%, and the lowest decrease was also recorded in December 2016 with a decrease of -36.24%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in the Riau Islands show 11 commodities decreased and 12 others increased. Basic commodities with price decreases are: Rice in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Beef in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Green Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Low-Quality Rice I, Fresh Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Grade 1 Beef in Traditional Markets by Province, Low-Quality Rice II, Red Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, and Curly Red Chili in Traditional Markets by Province.
