Rice Prices in Traditional Markets March 2025-2026 Period

Quoting from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 11:44 WIB, rice prices in traditional markets in Lampung Province have not changed compared to the previous day, as has the price trend over the past week.

Meanwhile, over the past month, rice prices in traditional markets have increased from the previously recorded Rp14.05 thousand.

Over the past three months, rice prices in traditional markets in Lampung have decreased by 2.05%. According to historical food price records from the PIHPS price panel, rice in Lampung Province's traditional markets is traded at Rp14.65 thousand.

The record increase in rice prices in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in January 2021 with a 10.29% rise, and the lowest decrease was also recorded in January 2021 with a -9.33% drop.

According to PIHPS monitoring, prices of nine staple commodities (sembako) in Lampung today show nine commodities have decreased and ten have increased. The sembako with price decreases are Red Chili, Granulated Sugar, Large Red Chili, Bird's Eye Chili, Premium Granulated Sugar, Red Bird's Eye Chili, Chicken Meat, Green Bird's Eye Chili, and Fresh Broiler Chicken Meat.
