Semarang City Government's Local Revenue is the Highest in Central Java Province

Semarang City is recorded as the Regency/Municipality (Pemkab/Pemkot) with the highest Local Revenue (PAD) in Central Java Province. Based on data from the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance, Ministry of Finance, Semarang's PAD reached Rp 1.72 trillion in 2018, or approximately 13% of the total PAD of the 35 Regencies/Municipalities in Central Java.

This PAD value consists of regional taxes of Rp 1.2 trillion, regional levies of Rp 107.69 billion, revenue from the management of separated regional assets of Rp 42.5 billion, and other legitimate PAD of Rp 367.85 billion. Meanwhile, the Regency/Municipality with the second-highest PAD is Banyumas Regency with a value of Rp 648.33 billion, and Surakarta City is in third place with a PAD of Rp 527.74 billion.

Meanwhile, Kudus Regency is the Regency/Municipality with the lowest PAD in Central Java, amounting to only Rp 39.69 billion. This amount consists of regional taxes of Rp 8.22 billion, regional levies of Rp 1.7 billion, revenue from the management of separated assets of Rp 352 million, and other legitimate PAD of Rp 29.37 billion.
