Today''s Food Prices in West Java: Rice, Egg, and Onion Prices Decline

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (3/9/2025) at 10:22 AM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 16 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases include garlic cloves, dried soybeans (imported), pure beef, medium rice, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as Minyakita cooking oil, consumption sugar, skipjack tuna, bulk wheat flour, and mackerel decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Large red chili commodity surged the highest by Rp1,644 (3.8%) to Rp44,894 per kg. Red onion prices fell the deepest by Rp1,554 (3.94%) to Rp37,880 per kg.

5. Curly Red Chili: Rp38,717 per kg (down 2.08%)
6. Red Onion: Rp37,880 per kg (down 3.94%)
7. Milkfish: Rp36,977 per kg (down 1.38%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp36,326 per kg (down 1.43%)
9. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp35,204 per kg (down 0.97%)
