Yogyakarta Special Region's Current Food Prices: Chili Prices Rise, Chicken Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (4/7/2024) at 14.01 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are skipjack tuna, bulk wheat flour, premium rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, red chili peppers, chicken eggs, medium rice, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp1,090 (3.25%) to Rp34,680 per kg. Broiler chicken prices saw the sharpest decrease of Rp1,850 (5.25%) to Rp33,380 per kg.
