Latest Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Onions Up, Chilies Down (Saturday, March 30, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (30/3/2024) at 11:09 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, shallots, red chilies, dry soybeans (import), and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, simple packaged cooking oil, red chilies, pure beef, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase, jumping by Rp340 (1.14%) to Rp30,290 per kg. Meanwhile, red chilies experienced the lowest price decrease, dropping by Rp800 (2.6%) to Rp29,990 per kg.
