Food Prices Today, January 22 in West Java: Onion and Red Chili Prices Drop

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Reporting data from the Ministry of Trade's Staple Food Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (January 22, 2026) at 15:09 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 5 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are beef hind shank, red bird's eye chili, broiler chicken meat, and imported soybeans.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as curly red chili, large red chili, broiler chicken eggs, red onions, and Honan garlic decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Imported soybean commodities surged the highest by Rp100 (0.73%) to Rp13,743 per kg. Meanwhile, red onion prices dropped the sharpest by Rp413 (1.14%) to Rp35,783 per kg.
