Today's Food Prices (28/1) in West Sumatra: Red Chili Up, Bird's Eye Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in West Sumatra today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (January 28, 2026) at 5:18 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 1 commodity decreased.

The commodities that saw price increases were curly red chili and shallots.

Meanwhile, only red bird's eye chili decreased compared to yesterday's price.

Curly red chili increased the most by Rp889 (2.31%) to Rp39,370 per kg. Meanwhile, red bird's eye chili decreased the most by Rp556 (0.9%) to Rp61,500 per kg.
