Food Prices in Central Java Today: Red Chili Prices Up, Onions Down

Prices of several food commodities in Central Java today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (21/9/2025) at 14:29 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 12 increased and 11 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include packaged wheat flour, large red chili, medium rice, Minyakita cooking oil, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken meat, milkfish, consumption salt, skipjack tuna, and red onions decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Curly red chili commodity saw the highest increase of Rp786 (1.5%) to Rp53,255 per kg. Red onion prices, on the other hand, experienced the sharpest decrease of Rp583 (1.59%) to Rp36,157 per kg.
