Central Java Food Prices Friday (April 26th): Chili Prices Rise, Chicken Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (26/4/2024) at 15.43 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, farmer-level corn, shallots, curly red chilies, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), simple packaged cooking oil, premium rice, pure beef, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp420 (6.9%) to Rp6,510 per kg. The packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) had the lowest price decrease of Rp190 (1.53%) to Rp12,200 per kg.
