Today's Food Prices in Yogyakarta: Egg and Rice Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, have increased today compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (October 9, 2024) at 10:19 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities saw price increases and 9 saw decreases.

Commodities that saw price increases include granulated sugar, skipjack tuna, chicken eggs, SPHP rice, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, simple packaged cooking oil, garlic bulbs, medium rice, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, up by Rp4,070 (11.45%) to Rp39,610 per kg. Shallots saw the largest price decrease, down by Rp1,900 (8.22%) to Rp21,210 per kg.

6. Skipjack Tuna: Rp33,470 per kg (up 1.95%)
7. Chicken Meat: Rp32,000 per kg (up 0.25%)
8. Chicken Eggs: Rp25,250 per kg (up 0.44%)
9. Shallots: Rp21,210 per kg (down 8.22%)
