10 Provinces with the Highest Cooking Oil Prices (Friday, March 24, 2023)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of cooking oil (per kg) in modern markets in several provinces reaching Rp 22,530 per kg, data as of Friday, March 24, 2023. Overall, the average this week increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 22,000 per kg.

The daily price of cooking oil in modern markets in Lampung was the most expensive in Indonesia at Rp 26,550 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of cooking oil in this province is higher. Previously, it was recorded at Rp 17,500 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in Central Kalimantan, cooking oil was sold at Rp 26,200 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of cooking oil in South Sumatra was Rp 25,300 per kg, Bengkulu Rp 25,150 per kg, and South Sulawesi Rp 24,950 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are 17 provinces with cooking oil sales prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest cooking oil selling prices are Central Sulawesi, Bangka Belitung Islands, and Riau Islands.
