Today's Food Prices December 12 in West Java: Chili and Oil Prices Drop

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (12/12/2025) at 13.55 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 2 increased and 3 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are curly red chilies and premium packaged palm cooking oil.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as red onions, red cayenne pepper, and Minyakita decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest increase of Rp1,200 (1.94%) to Rp63,017 per kg. Minyakita prices experienced the deepest drop of Rp230 (1.35%) to Rp16,770 per liter.
