Household Goods, Equipment, and Routine Maintenance Prices in Bogor City Decreased by 0.09% in April

In April, the prices of components contributing to inflation for household furnishings, equipment, and routine maintenance in Bogor City were -0.09%. This figure is lower than the previous month's 0.02%. Among the eight inflation groups measured in this region, the household furnishings, equipment, and routine maintenance group contributed -0.09% to regional inflation.

The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) reported that the consumer price index (CPI) for household furnishings, equipment, and routine maintenance in Bogor City was at 102.95 in April 2024, lower than the previous month's 103.04.

Compared to the same month last year, inflation for household furnishings, equipment, and routine maintenance has fallen by 16.75% (year-on-year/YoY). Compared to the beginning of the year, the prices of components contributing to inflation in Bogor City have experienced a growth of -0.18% (year-to-date/YTD).

Based on BPS survey data from April 2024, these 11 inflation groups ranked seventh compared to other subgroups.

Compared to 143 other regencies/cities, the highest inflation for household furnishings, equipment, and routine maintenance occurred in Berau Regency at 0.19% with a CPI of 102.77, and the lowest occurred in Pematang Siantar City at 0.04% with a CPI of 103.54. Bogor City ranked 116th.

Overall inflation in April 2024 at the national level was 0.3%, down from the previous month (month-to-month/M-to-M). Compared to the beginning of the year, national overall inflation reached 1.15% (YTD), and compared to April 2023, inflation fell by 7.27% (YoY).
