Current Food Prices in Bali: Salt Prices Up, Egg Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (2/7/2024) at 15.01 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are broiler chicken, milkfish, premium rice, medium rice, and iodized fine salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), bulk cooking oil, garlic cloves, red chilies, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices surged the highest by Rp13,570 (58.49%) to Rp36,770 per kg. Meanwhile, skipjack tuna prices decreased the most by Rp1,950 (7.48%) to Rp24,110 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 21 food commodities in Bali according to Bapanas on July 2, 2024, at 15.01 WIB.

9. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp27,540 per kg (down 3.1%)
10. Skipjack Tuna: Rp24,110 per kg (down 7.48%)
