Sumatera Utara Food Price List Today: Chili and Oil Prices Down (Thursday, December 14, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in North Sumatra today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Thursday (14/12/2023) at 20.09 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, shallots, premium rice, pure beef, and medium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), broiler chicken meat, red chili peppers, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp370 (3.15%) to Rp12,130 per kg. Red chili peppers experienced the lowest price decrease, falling Rp8,480 (11.22%) to Rp67,120 per kg.

6. Garlic Bulb: Rp35,260 per kg (down 0.56%)
7. Skipjack Tuna: Rp34,240 per kg (down 3.55%)
8. Shallots: Rp32,560 per kg (up 1.34%)
9. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp30,160 per kg (down 0.79%)
10. Chicken Eggs: Rp27,080 per kg (up 0.07%)
