Latest Lampung Region Food Prices: Onion Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (31/7/2024) at 08.01 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, milkfish, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), red chilies, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, simple packaged cooking oil, mackerel, shallot bulbs, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices saw the highest increase of Rp3,020 (11.19%) to Rp30,000 per kg. Iodized fine salt prices saw the largest decrease of Rp720 (4.89%) to Rp14,000 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 19 food commodities in Lampung according to Bapanas on July 31, 2024, at 08.01 WIB.

1. Pure Beef: Rp140,000 per kg (up 5.64%)
2. Red Chili Peppers: Rp65,000 per kg (up 6.64%)
3. Curly Red Chilies: Rp45,000 per kg (up 7.27%)
4. Shallot Bulbs: Rp36,000 per kg (down 1.48%)
5. Chicken Meat: Rp35,000 per kg (up 0.2%)
6. Milkfish: Rp30,000 per kg (up 11.19%)
7. Mackerel: Rp30,000 per kg (down 4.79%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp30,000 per kg (up 4.49%)
9. Chicken Eggs: Rp28,000 per kg (down 1.72%)
10. Shallots: Rp25,000 per kg (up 9.17%)
11. Granulated Sugar: Rp18,000 per kg (up 3.69%)
12. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp16,000 per liter (down 4.19%)
13. Bulk Cooking Oil: Rp15,000 per liter (down 3.1%)
