Personal Care and Other Services Expenditures in Manado City Increased by 1.23% in April

Personal care and other services expenditure in Manado City in April reached 1.23%. This figure is higher than the previous month's 0.86%. Among the nine inflation groups measured in this region, the personal care and other services group contributed 1.23% to the region's inflation.

The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) reported that the consumer price index (CPI) for personal care and other services in Manado City was at 106.58 in April 2024, higher than the previous month's 105.29.

Compared to the same month last year, inflation for personal care and other services has decreased by 11.79% (year-on-year/YoY). Compared to the beginning of the year, expenditure in Manado City has grown by 2.07% (year-to-date/YTD).

This sub-group inflation experienced the second-highest increase compared to other contributing sub-groups of inflation.

National inflation (general) in April 2024 was 0.3%, down from the previous month (month-to-month/M-to-M). Compared to the beginning of the year, national general inflation reached 1.15% (YTD), and compared to April 2023, inflation decreased by 7.27% (YoY).
