Today's Food Price Update in Central Java: Prices of Chilies, Sugar, and Chicken Drop (Monday, March 11, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Monday (11/3/2024) at 08.05 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are bulk wheat flour, mackerel fish, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), fine iodized salt, and dry soybean seeds (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, broiler chicken meat, granulated sugar, bulk cooking oil, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of fine iodized salt saw the highest increase, jumping by Rp1,810 (15.31%) to Rp13,630 per kg. The price of broiler chicken meat saw the lowest decrease, falling by Rp3,340 (8.67%) to Rp35,170 per kg.
