Latest Food Prices in Central Java: Oil and Onion Prices Fall

Prices of several food commodities in Central Java today were observed to fall compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (22/8/2025) at 11.18 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 8 commodities rose and 17 commodities fell.

Commodities whose prices rose include milkfish, premium rice, skipjack tuna, farmer-level corn, and frozen buffalo meat (imported).

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as red bird''s eye chili, red onion, garlic bulb, medium rice, and Indian mackerel decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Pure beef commodity rose the highest by Rp1,439 (1.1%) to Rp131,803 per kg. Red bird''s eye chili price fell the most by Rp904 (3.2%) to Rp27,347 per kg.
