Food Prices Saturday (8/11) in West Java: Sugar, Oil, and Chicken Meat Prices Decrease

Prices of several food commodities in West Java are observed to be lower today compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (11/8/2025) at 08:44 AM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 17 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include bulk cooking oil, pure beef, corn at the farmer level, medium rice, and broiler eggs.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as dry soybean seeds (imported), curly red chili, SPHP rice, mackerel, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Corn at the farmer level saw the highest increase of Rp733 (11.7%) to Rp7,000 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish prices dropped the sharpest by Rp2,282 (6.01%) to Rp35,667 per kg.
