Food Prices in Indonesia Tuesday (Nov 4): Onion Prices Rise, Buffalo Meat Falls

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (4/11/2025) at 09:13 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 7 increased and 18 decreased.

Commodities with rising prices include garlic bulbs, consumption sugar, mackerel, milkfish, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, Minyakita (branded cooking oil), large red chilies, premium rice, and dried soybean seeds (imported) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna saw the highest jump of Rp821 (2.38%) to Rp35,376 per kg. Frozen buffalo meat (imported from abroad), on the other hand, experienced the sharpest decline of Rp5,604 (5.27%) to Rp100,717 per kg.

9. Red Bird's Eye Chili: Rp37,125 per kg (down 0.58%)
10. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp36,815 per kg (down 0.97%)
11. Skipjack Tuna: Rp35,376 per kg (up 2.38%)
