Bali Food Price Update Today: Egg, Chili, and Oil Prices Rise (Friday, March 8, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Friday (8/3/2024) at 12:29 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, shallots, dry soybean (import), simple packaged cooking oil, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, premium rice, red onions, skipjack tuna, and farmer-level corn decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel saw the highest increase, jumping by Rp880 (2.37%) to Rp38,030 per kg. The price of skipjack tuna saw the lowest decrease, dropping by Rp1,500 (5.6%) to Rp25,270 per kg.
