Local Sugar Prices in North Kalimantan Increased by 2.66% This Week

The price of local granulated sugar in North Kalimantan was Rp 13,500 per kg on Friday, January 28, 2022. Compared to other regions, this region showed the highest price increase in the last week.

According to daily commodity price monitoring data from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center, the price of local granulated sugar in North Kalimantan increased by 2.66% within a week.

Compared to the price 30 days prior, the price of local granulated sugar in this region has increased by 3.85%.

However, over the past year, the selling price of local granulated sugar in North Kalimantan's modern markets has actually decreased. The previous highest record reached Rp 13,750 per kg.

For the month of January 2022, the price of local granulated sugar in modern markets continued to rise, increasing by 3.85% compared to the previous month.
