Daily Prices of Green Chili Peppers in Traditional Markets of North Maluku Province Increased by 8.33% in the Last Month

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of green chilies in traditional markets in North Maluku Province is recorded at Rp65,000. This price is up Rp5,000 compared to the previous day.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of green chilies in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp60,000.

Meanwhile, the daily price of green chilies in traditional markets in North Maluku over the past three months has fallen by 18.75%. According to historical records of food prices in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of green chilies in traditional markets in North Maluku Province was traded at Rp80,000.

The record high for the daily price of green chilies in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in January 2017 with an increase of 75%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in July 2017 with a decrease of -42.11%.

PIHPS monitoring shows that the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in North Maluku recorded six commodities decreasing and nine others increasing. Basic commodities with decreased prices are Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2, Chili Peppers, Red Chilies, Cooking Oil, Curly Red Chilies, and Red Chili Peppers.
