Today's Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Rice Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Friday (3/1/2025) at 11:57 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 16 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are milkfish, medium-grain rice, skipjack tuna, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, red chilies, iodized fine salt, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and broiler chicken have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,690 (4.5%) to Rp39,270 per kg. Red chilies experienced the sharpest price decrease of Rp5,530 (7.07%) to Rp72,670 per kg.
