Latest Food Prices in Banten: Buffalo Meat Up, Red Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Thursday (3/4/2025) at 13:51 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 19 commodities increased in price and 6 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, bulk cooking oil, medium rice, granulated sugar, and garlic bulbs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, curly red chilies, bulk wheat flour, skipjack tuna, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Fresh buffalo meat (local) saw the highest price increase of Rp141,000 (inf%) to Rp141,000 per kg. Curly red chilies experienced the largest price decrease of Rp11,000 (12.22%) to Rp79,000 per kg.
