Chicken Egg Prices in Riau are the Highest Nationally (Friday, June 16, 2023)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded the average daily price of chicken eggs (per kg) in modern markets in several provinces reaching Rp 34,200 per kg, as of Friday, June 16, 2023. Overall, the average this week increased compared to last week's average of Rp 33,650 per kg.

The daily price of chicken eggs in modern markets in Riau was the most expensive in Indonesia at Rp 34,200 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of chicken eggs in this province is higher; previously recorded at Rp 27,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, in Gorontalo's modern markets, the price of chicken eggs was sold at Rp 34,200 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of chicken eggs in Lampung was Rp 34,200 per kg, East Nusa Tenggara Rp 34,200 per kg, and East Kalimantan Rp 34,200 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are 34 provinces with chicken egg sales prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest chicken egg selling prices are West Papua, Papua, and East Java.
